FALLBROOK REAL ESTATEFallbrook, CA 92028

The rural community of Fallbrook is nestled in the coastal foothills in the northwest corner of San Diego County, just 15 miles from the Pacific Ocean. The charm of the area is that you don´t drive through Fallbrook on your way to somewhere else. It IS your destination. On the borders of town, Interstate 15 and Highway 76 provide easy access to Los Angeles (2 hours), San Diego (1 hour), Riverside and Orange Counties.

Community InformationThe roots of Fallbrook go back to 1869 in the area of town now known as Live Oak County Park. The original Fallbrook school was closed in the late 30´s, but still remains alive as a local clubhouse. History is preserved throughout the town and with local museums. Oak trees originally covered the area, but were replaced when olives became a major crop in the early part of the century. Since the 1960´s avocados and flowers have covered the rolling hills of this rural community. Moderate growth is maintained through county zoning ordinances.
Living In Fallbrook Today you´ll find Main Street still has the Old West feeling with restaurants, charming gift shops and boutiques. In 2002, "Where To Retire" magazine ranked it as one of the best places in the country to retire. In 2006, Fallbrook was chosen one of the "100 Best Art Towns in America" by John Villani, the author of a book by the same name. On Fridays you can stroll through the Farmer´s Market and throughout the year, enjoy local parades and events.
Art influence is easily found around town and in architectural and construction projects, such as the rebuilding of one of Fallbrook´s most visible commercial properties; the old citrus plant on Mission Road. After it burned in 1991, it sat waiting for the right owner. Now under construction, the building, the largest of its kind since the inception of the Fallbrook Revitalization Plan, will gradually emerge as an attractive commercial center that is expected to stimulate more activity in the downtown area. New restaurants have taken root in Fallbrook, adding more and more diversity to the dining experiences.
And, of course we cannot forget to talk about Fallbrook´s leading industry, which keeps the landscape beautifully lush, green and private - agriculture! Gentleman farms and world-renown nurseries grow flowers, avocados, citrus, plants and ornamentals for local and worldwide distribution.
"New restaurants have taken root in Fallbrook, adding more and more diversity to the dining experiences." According to the Fallbrook Sourcebook 2007, "the town´s new signature phrase of "Find Fallbrook" is working its magic and pleasing those who make the discovery."
